QUESTIONS

  • We have lived in a rental since 2009. Two years ago, the house was sold to a new owner and now we have a property management company that we talk to. (Prior was family friend owner). There is a large Tree in the back yard, over 30 ft tall, that has been maintained by the previous owner personally and by some people the property management sent over three different times since taking over the property. Due to a recent storm, the tree has broken branches 20 + feet in the air. The property management company was notified and have told me its my responsibilty. Is this true or not?
  • How can I sue my University for wrongful and unjust expulsion? I feel very strongly that I was discriminated against and that the administration's decision to do so was primarily motivated by bias and prejudice. What is the legal recourse and how can I seek redress? Should I seek a judicial review? Thank you.
  • We have 2 homes 3 mortgages all mortgages were with Bank (Proper name removed). Our residential home is on trial modification. Bank sold the loan in July with our investment property to a loan servicing company (Proper name removed) before I could finish with it's modification, I want to modify our HELOC loan that Bank holds on the investment property also. If I can't modify these 2 loans the house may go into foreclosure. My question: If Loan Servicer suggests fore closer whats going to happen with our HELOC loan with Bank.? Loan is around $101,000 HELOC at 83,000 and house is worth about 145,000.We really don't know whats best for us
  • Can I stay longer in a foreclosure property? I am the tenant . The bank is the owner now. I am willing to pay for the extra time until I buy the house, but i need more time, and I dont want to leave. I need four more months. Do I have any rights to stay the extra time?
  • The judge ordered: IT IS ORDERED that both parties shall participate in co-parenting classes through Parenting Skills. Is this the same class I completed and filed a certificate for on 9/30/2011 PEC - Parent Education Certificate? If so, am I required to take it again? Does an online course comply with Maricopa Superior Family courts requirements? If not, since the place in Scottsdale given to me at court on 09/12/13 no longer does the class where on the West side (Peoria/Glendale) can I go to comply with this order?
  • My husband and I just bought a condo, and we don't have hot water. Our HOA charges us for hot water (boiler is used), but we don't receive any. Our water comes out at 100°F as the warmest. I've spoken with HOA & he started that it will be about 8 months before we get any hot water due to the repairs needed. Should we still be charged for hot water usage? Is it legal to not provide hot water to tenants and charge them for it?

The question: the children are adults who have been residents of AZ for many years. They now really need funds and I'm unable to help. How would I initiate an audit of monies owed, and where do I start since none of us have been residents of KS for many years. My ex resides in SC. I have been told there are no time limitations to child support.

  • I have a step son who’s 18 yo and will be 19 in a month who recently just had a baby. My question is this, he recently received a paternity court summons and in the summons it says he has 20 days to respond. Needless to say he hasn’t responded and he’s just ignoring the summons. What will happen if he continues to ignore this summons? It’s already passed the 20 day window.
