  • Hi, I was wondering if somebody could tell me what the processes for removing a father off of my three-year-old daughter’s birth certificate and changing her name? He is her biological father, however a year and a half ago we moved to a different state and he has not bothered to have any contact with her for over a year And of course has never paid child support. I’d like to take him off of her birth certificate and change her name to my name instead. Thank you for your advice!

He is currently homeless. he cannot be trusted with the child and the child has come home from visits unfed and with a dirty diaper and dirty clothes. When we take him to visit, they're usually at his mother's house- but she moved out of state. Now he refuses to tell me where the visits will be. I'm wondering, with him being homeless, can I break the court ordered visits? We have court again the second week of September.

  • Two weeks ago I had a discussion with my landlord and his wife about being two weeks late on my rent and would need to pay it on the 14th of November. They were kind and said that would be fine and to come in around rent time to fill out a promissory note. During that time and now his (the landlord's) wife left him because he was very abusive. Now Sunday Nov 2nd I went in to fill out the contract to pay on the 14th and the landlord said he was evicting anyone who had anything to do with her. What can I do I am a single dad with no family in AZ.
