My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. my ex and i have court appointed parenting time in family court. my ex keeps bringing her boyfriend around me during these exchanges and i have an OOP against him for threatening my life. my biggest question is i know he is violating law by doing that and can be arrested but is she in violation of some law in arizona by allowing it? FYI she has known about the OOP since it was issued and she helped fight it for him in court so "i didn't know about it" doesn't apply in this situation. im in fear that my ex is attempting to cause an issue by having him around when we exchange our children

After signing my lease agreement and after moving in, my landlord had some guy come to the house to do a stucco job due to termites. We were not aware of the house having termite until after we were settled in. The guy said he would come back to work on the house because he needed the landlord signature to start the repairs. Well I guess my landlord never signed the paper because the guy never returned. It has been months and we still have termites. What can I do in this situation.

For the past 2 months, Apartments have been having hot water issues. Month of October had no hot water for 2 to 3 days and now in November about 4 days. Hot water has been off on the morning of 11/20/2019 and suppose to be back on afternoon of 11/21/2019. Wondering if there is recourse or a credit on my rent for the month. Pay 735 a month to live there.

I got arrested for criminal damage. Girlfriend lived with me at the house I own. She is not on any paperwork on my house. She has an order of protection against me so I can not go to my house. I need to get her out. Went to judicial court to get an eviction started. They said I cannot do an eviction until I give her a written notice first. I cannot have any form of contact with her. I'm not sure what I can do. Per our verbal agreement she was to pay rent on the 10th. She did not pay. All the bills are in my name. Can I turn the utilities off until she leaves?
