I am a single mom of 4 children (20, 19, 13, & 10). I divorced the children's father almost 8 yrs ago. I have full sole custody, and he was granted supervised visitation 2 hrs a week. Soon after the divorce, he stopped seeing or contacting the children. He currently has 5 felony warrants in the state of AZ for drugs and such and owes large fines. He fled the state about 6 yrs ago. And has not been seen or heard from since then. I want to know what I can do in lieu of custody of my children in the event of my death. Obviously the older children are safe; however, my 2 younger children I am concerned about. They do not know him or even know what he looks like. A long time fear of mine is that he could come and take them from family and friends here. Am I able to leave them to a more capable and safe guardian? And if so, what can I do without racking up large attorney fees? Thanks so much.

My father died in March & mother in June. We have found that dad had some life insurance through USPO with no beneficiary designated. They want to pay to my mom's estate but there is no estate. She had assets under $10,000 and no real property. I found the small estate affidavit. There are three surviving children, 1 deceased with 2 children. I assume we all need to fill out an affidavit? I had a baby in October 2016, the father and I both signed acknowledgment of paternitynand the birth certificate. We are not, nor have we ever, been married. I have my daughter full time, and we aren't doing anything about custody or in the court system. The only times he's seen his daughter is when I pick him up for visits that we've scheduled.. I recently received a job offer in another state, along with acceptance to a school for nursing. I have family there as well. My question is this- am I able to move with my child out of state? Would it be considered parental kidnapping?

My grandson's mom died, dad-my son- was in prison. Baby was living with my ex-husband (step grandfather), and he said state makes inmates sever parental rights-pushed him to sign voluntarily so he could adopt. He said if I interfere State may place the boy for adoption by strangers and I was not even being considered as adoptive placement. CPS, Foster Care board and courts wouldn't call me back to confirm. Ex husband said if I interfere we lose the boy forever so I stopped. Son died last year. Exhusband will no longer let me see my grandson. I think he lied-manipulated us and State acted inappropriately

I received a certified letter from my landlord that I have to vacate the property in 30 days. However this is not enough time for me and my kids to find a new place to live. Do I legally have to vacate in that amount of time or is she just making sure to start the process in notifying me? I'm afraid I might end up homeless, losing all my belongings, and be escorted out by the police.

I bought a mobile home a year ago, the park manager told me that he would give me the title if I signed a power of attorney, I did it and he still hasn't given me the title, I asked him for the title a few days ago and he told me to sign another power of attorney to give me the title, is this legal? What can I do to get my MH title?
