I was convicted of DV Agg. Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon in 2001. I served 3.5 yrs. for this crime. I was under the influence of drugs/alcohol at the time, and also going thru a bitter divorce suit. I am wondering if there is any way I can get my gun rights restored? I am not planning on going hunting, or shooting someone, but with the crime rate escalating due to the economy staggering, I would NOT want to be sentenced to prison for protecting my own life as a prohibited possessor. What, if any, steps do I need to take to attempt to restore my rights. Thank You for you time !!!

My ex-wife has legal and physical custody of our daughter. She is 14 and currently staying with her uncle. I am in the military and stationed in GA. I divorced in Seattle 11 years ago and my ex moved down to Phoenix with my son and I moved down here 5 years ago. He is 13 now and I have always paid child support but I have no record of it, as we did not go through the courts for this. I am getting married in a few months and want to have something signed or some document stating that I have paid child support for the last 13 years and something that shows I continue to pay directly to her every month. Is there something like that here in AZ that will protect me from her stating I never paid?

In 2011 I was late with my rent payment. I received a notice to pay or vacate. I immediately paid the rent past due and late fees in full. The following month my lease expired, I paid my rent due and moved out. Fast forward to 2013 I find out the apartment filed a forcible/special detainer. Is this legal? Am I able to dispute the judgement? Please help. Thanks
