  • Our lease ended in November of 2016, we did not want to sign a new lease due to trying to find a new place to rent. So we have just been paying month to month and ignored the least the landlord sent us to renew. Is it legal for us to not sign a lease? Can the landlord force us to sign a lease?
  • I started divorce proceedings against my husband but now he is dying from liver failure and on hospice. Which is to my advantage, the divorce or remaining married, we are separated now. This is purely a debt issue because of medical and other outstanding bills of his. I am disabled and live on my SS and he has no income being unemployed for over 2 years but recently accepted to ahccs.

  • I had a child at 16 and my parents are paying for everything she and I need. The babies dad turned 18 right before I had her and he does not help in anyway with support. He comes to see her for a hour or so every time he and his new girlsfriend are fighting, how can I get child support for our daughter even though I am only 16. My parents should not have to pay for all her care.
  • I am retired military and was retired medically in 2013. I was active duty 91-94 and national guard time the remainder of the time. I was injured in combat in 2007 and later received an active medical retirement. I do receive some of my compensation from va with the remainder coming from DOD. My spouse who i married in 1999 is wanting my military retirement but it seems im the one with medical issues for life and just doesnt seem to be right.   • We signed a year lease, Feb.2015. There was a note on our door, may 4th,2015 saying we haven't signed yet. We called the Apt. Mngr. and he looked it up on the computer and saw that we did sign a lease but the year was wrong on the lease. Instead of 2015-16 it said 2014-15 but it has our signatures and the right date of signing 2-28-15. Nobody caught that when we signed in Feb.He said to come in and resign.When we went yesterday to resign he said the rent also increased even though we were quoted the price in the lease in Feb. This seems unfair and wrong/illegal?Help appreciated.Thanks, Tom
