QUESTIONS

  • I recieved a Notice of Substition of Trustee. The recorded date that shows on this notice when my mortgage lender appointed the as a successor trustee shows a recording date of September 15, 2008. Which today is September 2 , 2008, so how can something have been recorded on a date that has not even happened yet? The sale is scheduled for September 5, 2008. What are my legal rights as to getting this sale postponed?
  • Am trying to get my father's name on my birth certificate he lives in a different country and can't come to the US I've called vital records and the tell me to call the Maricopa superior court i called they transfered me to the family Court from there they told me to call the civil court and i did but they told me they can't do anything and told me to go to the website it seem like no one can help me what can i do ?

  • How do i adopt my step son (13yrs).His mother and i are getting a divorce and have been separated for over a year. adoption will be uncontested by both parents. The child wants to live with me and has been for the last year along with his 4 brothers and sisters .I have been his step-father since he was 6 months old. I am ready to remarry after the divorce is final.Do i get the divorce , re-marry, Then adopt him or do i have to stay married in order to adopt him? Note:The mother may have a life threatening condition and wants to make sure he stays with me in the case that she dies.
  • I have 3 children and all under the age of 18. I also have sole custody and my ex-husband only has visitation. He is almost $100,000 in back child support.(not sure if it matters) I am moving out of AZ and going to KY in June of this year. My question is; is there a way he can stop me from moving so far, even though the court papers state he willingly gave up his custody? Other parent has never been involved, which is why I have sole custody and she has my last name, but he recently decided he wants visitation. He expects unsupervised visits and upon his availability. Also, what should I do to protect mine and my baby’s (15 months) rights? I’m assuming it’s not so simple to just come in and get visitation rights after not being involved at all for all those months.
  • my x wife violated a protection order and took my son then split to another state. i have an emergency custody order for my child that the judge awarded me which also states on documents that the child is to be returned to father immediately! now after i got process server to serve my wife, she now is tryng to keep my son and file a case in the state where she is at. is that fair? how can i get my son back where he resides for the past 3 years? can someone please help?
  • I have resided in the same rental property for over a year. I was told I was renewed for another year. 3 months into the second year the landlord (owner/realtor) told me I have to buy the house or move. He wants twice what it is worth or I have to move. I know this is not legal as a tenant but does this also violate real estate laws? I would very much like to report him to proper authorities but to whom would I report such a thing?
