My house has rats and landlord hired an exterminator who laid bait under the wood floors and the rats died in the house. The house now smells putrid and my landlord refuses to hire someone to remove the rats. I don't know what to do, I can't even stay in my own house. Also after I read through our rental agreement I noticed that she has snuck in little clause stating that if I take any type of legal action towards her she has the right to evict me. Is any of this legal?!

My wife and 3 children have been renting a home in mesa for a year now. The landlord has permanently moved to Oregon and has who ever she decides come over and leave us threating notes and notes on my wifes car. her so called "step dad" has harrassed my wife while at work on numerous occasions because he doesnt like my attitude and always has weird request for us..Our AC went out on Memorial Day and my landlord was notified and he svd as the landlrd name for the diag chk of the compl broke a/c. $3800 new, $2600 repair....She told us that when we send our rent in shed fix..stil no air. eviction

My name is on the house I bought. My boyfriend pays his share. I want him out, he has be abusive and the police have been involved already. They brought him back and said there was nothing they could hold him on. I feel scared for my life. if this situation happens again, I don't know what to do. Im trapped and being intimidated by him.
