QUESTIONS

  • The apartment I just rented has mold. Is the landlord responsible to clean out the mold.
  • How do I get a warrant served for a deadbeat parent that is in arrears of almost $35,000? He seems to disappear alot.I can't get the sherrifs department to go after him unless there is a warrant.
  • I've owned my trailer since January 2013.   • Just recently got married ,moved out of my rental because the wife has a lease on an apt until april 2016 the apt we live in has a washroom adjoined to it ,the plumbing has leaked twice into the bathroom and bedroom ruining the carpet and some personal belongings. this has happened twice. I complained directly to the property management and her response is "i am not authorized to notify or request repairs because I am not on the lease" my question is in Arizona can management companies ignore safety and health complaints due to a spouse not being on the lease.

  • I own a 55+ senior Rv community. A person living in a park model passed away. Their relatives have been trying to sell it. They paid the yearly rent (which is at a substantial discount). Two months later they received an offer on their home and now want a refund or partial refund of the rent. Now I have several signs in the office that states there are no prorations or refunds on rent. They are telling me that it's against the law that I rerent the space once they leave unless they sign a release allowing me to do so. Am I able to rent the space once they leave without refunding them?
  • I moved out of an apt without having a walk through but I took several pictures. Two weeks later I received a letter stating they were keeping my pet deposit and that I owed them an additional amount of money. I disagree with some of the charges they have. How can I dispute this and what is my time limit? They have given me 30 days to pay before sending to collections. Also, can the landlord charge for painting the interior? I even filled in any holes made from hanging pictures. Don't they have to paint anyway?
