QUESTIONS

  • I am working on a dispute with a home warranty company. I am trying to find where it states what is considered too hot in a home for it to be deemed an emergency?
  • I've been handling my divorce on my own. So far I've found all the forms online. Now I've run into a wall, I can't find where to download the forms, that will get me subpoenas, or tell me how/where to get em. If anyone can help with this, I'd be very grateful.
  • Some of us want an inspction of th rntal apartmnts for landlord violations

  • My husband got a loan online in 2007 and paid 288.00 a month until 2010. I now have been contacted by a debt collector who wants the so called balance to be paid by me. What is the statue of limitations and so I start making payments.
  • I have a emotional support dog and pets are allowed in my apartment. My landlord charged me the pet deposit, I showed the landlord my pets registration card. The would not accept that and wanted a letter. I told them I would get the letter. Then I paid my rent for the following rent, 4 days letter they refused to accept my rent payment because it did not include the pet deposit. The started a 5 day eviction notice. Can they evict me on those grounds?
  • If the father of my children has been living at home since he got released from prison, and I am no longer getting des assistance how do we get the child support order stopped and get some of the back pay removed from what is owed when he was in prison?
  • Can a landlord dictate where a child sleeps? Saying a child over 2 “needs” their own bedroom. Not only is this nickel and diming parents to pay the extra rent for more rooms it feels extremely discriminating and invasive of parental rights. Telling me where my child can and can’t sleep, basically not allowing bedsharing or trying to get families with kids to move elsewhere cause they can’t afford adding another bedroom to their budget.
  • We have a 10 yr old daughter. My ex has supervised visitation, which he chooses not to participate in. He has not complied with any of the court orders to date. It should be noted that there is a history of drug abuse & mental illness. He has now started bullying me online & threatening to take me back to court again. The new theory is parental alienation even though it's of his own doing. My concern is the lies & harassment. I can't afford to lose my job because I support our daughter. I already changed jobs once because he repeatedly called & harassed me there. What options do I have?
  • When in the middle of divorce proceedings, and one of the two spouses moves out to another residence taking all of his possessions, is it legal to have the locks changed on the marital home even though both co-own the home? The home is up for sale as listed in our beginning divorce papers.
  • is it illegal to make death threats
