QUESTIONS

  • I was employed by a Cruise Line located in Hawaii but I reside permanently in Arizona. I was wrongfull terminated by the company for supposed theft of alcohol during an event. There is no emerical proof of me doing this on video footage. I originally was a union member but as I was promoted to an officer on-board, my position changed to non-union. How can I go about fighting the accusations and being compensated for my travel exspensed home, defamation of character, and the loss of my job?
  • Are there any resources that provide free or reduced cost defense for criminal misdemeanors in Phoenix? I cannot afford an attorney since I have been living pay check to pay check trying to pay off a $3000 title, but I do not qualify for a court appointed attorney ( bc state not seeking jail time) and do not qualify for any of the reduced/free legal aid programs on this site since without deducting bills I make about $2000 a month. Please help, as I do not want to defend myself at trial for criminal matters alone. It seems so unfair and unjust.

  • My recently ex wife charged me with domestic violence last year. She also had an order of protection against me. After many trials and no evidence the last trial she changed her story completely and lied about the incident completely. I have severely struggled all year trying to clear my name and going broke for supervised visits. Who do I talk to and what are my options?

  • What is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)?
  • Is being read one's rights during an arrest manditory?
  • We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!
