QUESTIONS

  • I gave notice in May to move during August (lease ending July 31). The landlord says I have to wait to get the amount they're going to charge me. They have a habit of delivering information the day before it's due. How long do I have to give them to get me this information?
  • I am renting a room in a house. The landlord has not given me a signed copy of the lease/agreement. The landlord does not give me a rent receipt. I have been living here for about 8 months, sending/mailing the landlord checks regularly. Now, the landlord is asking me to give a detailed breakdown of rent/checks paid ad the associated dates in a specific format. I have done the best I can. The landlord has been sending me multiple messages regarding this over the weekend. Isn't this the landlords job, to keep track of the rent/checks paid. I feel the landlord treats me differently versus others.
  • My children's father is a registered sex offender, and was awarded supervised visitation in May 2009. He paid for two visits in July 2009. As of September 25, he has three warrants out for his arrest and is considered an absconder. He is running from authorities. I would like to make the family court aware of the situation and change the supervised visitation that was awarded in May 2009. What steps should I take? How do I Petition the court for a status conference?
  • I am looking to purchase a mobile home on a rented lot. The mobile home has a shattered sliding glass door and the swamp cooler is not working. Are these things the landlord is required to have fixed before I purchase the home? I'm not really concerned about the swamp cooler as I own window units, but concerned about the door. The glass was completely shattered on the mobile side of door, presumably by previous tenant who was evicted.

I have a judgement and part of that is for specific performance /forfeiture of my residence back to me after 3 years of no payments. I reside out of state because the bums have taken over the home and I need to gain possession. I was told I need a writ of restitution (whatever that is) and also told I need a lawyer to do this processing with the sheriff dept, and that is why I sought help from AZ law help. I have very low income $531.00 monthly
