  • I was convicted State Jail Felony in Texas (POCS) in 1999 and was sentenced to 9months in a State Jail Facility in Dayton, TX. I have since lived a model lifestyle, drug free and employed. We moved to AZ in 2006. My father in law passed away last month, so my husband wants to bring his handgun home. Is this legal in AZ or do I need to go in front of a judge?

  • For the last 2 months, after a company bought the complex I'm living in, have endless cut down trees, no warning, all day every day other than the weekends. Because of that, rats have now started entering our apartments and taken up residence in our walls. It took them a month to come and repair holes where the rats were entering and the endless noise has made living here stressful. What is their rights as the owners of the complex and how much noise and inconvience they are causing everyone living here?

I provided written notice of uninhabitable condition on Dec 16 as well. I'd like to know several things: 1) do I have a right to demand mold inspection and remediation? 2) landlord has suspended rent as of 16th, but am I entitled to storage, moving, and/or living expenses while repairs are being completed?
