  • We put a maintenance request in over a year ago about a leaking skylight. The property manager has yet to fix it. It is getting worse and growing mold now. I put in a new maintenance request over the weekend and have yet to hear from anyone. Is this something that I can withhold rent for until it is fixed or should I hire someone to fix it myself? I do have proof of the original maintenance request dated 4/19/2019 as well as the one I just put in. I don't know how they expect me to pay $1500 dollars for a home with a leak and mold that they won't fix.

The would not accept that and wanted a letter. I told them I would get the letter. Then I paid my rent for the following rent, 4 days letter they refused to accept my rent payment because it did not include the pet deposit. The started a 5 day eviction notice. Can they evict me on those grounds?
  • My boyfriend was arrested last night for aggravated assault against me. I told the police that he has a history of mental illness and that he needed to go to a psychiatric hospital but they took him to jail anyway. I am not pressing charges but I am afraid the state will. How do I help him get the charge dropped and get mental help?

Her children's father will not let her move. We can help her with her children but e cannot afford an attorney and doesn't know a lot of people in Phoenix.
