  • What are the type of maintenance that a property manager should provide?
  • Can the landlord raise late fee without informing tenant?
  • A friend of mine who lived in an RV park recently died. He left his RV to me. At the time of his death he was renting on a yearly basis, and was paid up through May 2018. Park management says that the lot rental payments are not transferable, and that I must sign a new rental agreement. Have looked through Title 33 Chapter 19, but not sure if anything there applies. Is it true that the park owner can "keep the rent," in a case like this?
  • I have a signed lease agreement with two other undergrad college students. One has vacated the property and has requested that the Landlord approve a sub-lease. There is a modification clause stating that all party's must approve in writing any changes to the lease. Can the other roommate and the Landlord move anyone they want into the residence without the approval of the other two that are remaining? There is a sub-lease clause as well stating that a sub-lease may be granted with the approval of the Landlord.

  • I am a double lung transplant recipient and even though my doctor says that I cannot return to work, CIGNA looked at my hospital records and a panel cancelled my waiver for my Life Insurance premiums from my employer benefits. Can they do this? My life expectancy is short, about 5 years on average. My wife and I are on disability and they want a quarter of the premium to appeal their decisions. We are debt free don't want to acquire more debt to fight this. Can someone help?
  • If I had not been on my job for a year and was a few days to making my 90 days with full benefits when I had an unavoidable medical situation what do I file for when my job has me on medical leave but I'm not sure it is fmla and I have no income to pay my bills and not sure when the doctors or I will be able to medically clear me to physically do my job. I was told I'm not terminated but I do not qualify for any benefits although my medical insurance did get activated but will be terminated if I can not make the payments. I am still in need of medical care. I'm really confused please help me.
  • Per my lease agreement I sent notice to my landlord that I wanted to renew the lease a month prior to lease ending via email 6/28/19, the same day he sent me notice of rent increase which was received on 6/29/19. He recently replied that we are on a month to month, our lease does not end until July 31st at 5pm. He took over two weeks to respond to email, I am unable to give him 30days notice as he took too long to respond, I recently emailed back accepting he rental amount if a lease is written. What right do I have? Last year when he raised the rent he back dated the 30 day notice.
  • My brother owns a construction company and hired a homeless man. He told the homeless man he could temporarily stay in a trailer that had no electricity or water, but a roof over his head. This trailer is on my property and the homeless man has since been fired by my brother and I gave him an eviction notice and he has not made any attempt to move out. He built a shed on my property without permission using stolen material from my brothers construction company. How do I get him off my property? There was no written lease only a verbal agreement. I don't know what to do?
