  • I'm moving at the end of my lease this month. I've asked Management for a walk-through with me on the last day to ensure I've met all the cleaning expectations in order to get my deposit back. Management says it isn't necessary since they think I keep a clean place. My concern is that after I'm gone, trumped up "repairs" will be noted on my account and they will keep my deposit. They've not been the most ethical and business-like over the past year. What are my rights?
  • I've been working for an individual for 7 years off and on. In order to get my invoices paid, we have an agreement (verbal) that I scrap some of his stuff and apply it to the invoice, been doing just that for over 3 years now. Last week I scraped some Stainless boxes and applied the monies to my running invoice, just like I've been doing for years. Now he's accusing me of stealing from him and is threating to have me arrested for stealing his stuffs. What should I do about this ? I've never been arrested and don't want to start now at my age. I didn't take his stuff with any intent.

  • I bought a small summer place in an all 55+ rv park. I just found out if your unit is 30 yrs old the owner of the park must inspect your unit before you can put it up for sale. If they don't approve the condition of the unit you can't sell. Is this legal? Why would I not be informed before I bought?

  • My son was married for 10 years. She always wanted to be the one bringing in all the money. My son was given an allowance. She makes close to 60,000 a year and basically told my son to get a job the last year. He couldn't find one and she decided to ask him to leave. He left with just some stuff and nothing else. Do you think he would be able to get alimony at least for awhile? No children. He is 29 and will be looking for a job now obviously, but he was left with nothing. Ty for any advice in advance
