I just got myself an appartment l for the first time in about 6 years and my 21 year old son who has a lot of problems in his life,well he became homeless AGAIN the day before [ got the keys to my new place. So I let him come stay with me with a verbal agreement between both of us with the understanding that he would follow my rules, not disrespect me, find a job immediately so he could save money and get out and into his own place. Well us been half a month and he isn't doing ant of those things i asked and i want him out. What do I have to do to get him to leave cause he won't? Please help..

If we opt to pay someone to negotiate for a loan modification with our lender am I less likely to fall victim to scam with a law office?

My tenant lied about having a puppy. My home is a no pets home. She moved the dog in when she moved it. When we found about the dog we gave her a 10 day notice letter that she had no idea was coming. Within 18 hours she went on a website and got a letter saying that the puppy is now an emotional support dog and if we try to evict her she will sue us under Federal Housing Act. What are my protections? Add said no pets, applications said no pets, lease says no pets and she lied. Also advertised in local neighborhood website for a pet sitter. I am renting to own my manufactured home from my landlord who is in turn paying off loan company. The contract she wrote and we both signed but was never notarized or witnessed states that I will rent the home" as is" meaning she is not responsible for any damages. The septic tank is broken and flooding badly enough that one side of the house has sunken into the ground. The clogging from the septic has caused leaks and clogs in water pipes causing mold in walls and insulation under house ruined. A lic. Plumber informed me that the septic tank got broken when she installed it previous to my renting. It is also illegally placed too close to house. Also, my mother paid my rent in February and when I asked my landlord if she received this money she stated no. I called my mother to confirm she did go there then I called landlord back and told her I knew she was lying about it and she admitted that she had in fact lied about how much rent I actually owe her. What can I do about all of this?

My landlord was intoxicated and assaulted me yesterday. I called the police and they came over, the cops asked if I wanted to press charges I said no, which I now regret. The officer asked if things would be ok if I left for the night and returned tomorrow. I stated yes and went to a motel for the night. When I returned home this afternoon he shows up with the police and a restraining order. I just paid him a months rent on July 1st, which he won't give back part off. Can I now press charges a day or two after and can I sue him for the rent I was screwed out of? He assaulted me... Help!!

I moved in 1 month ago and put on my walk thru sheet that there was mold in the laundry room still waiting for them to fix it. They are going to put up new sheetrock. We also have noticed mold in the closet and kitchen. Can we have the mold tested on our own or do we have to have the owners/ landlord permission
