QUESTIONS

  • my manager did not accept my rent on the first and told me to wait until she got back to me on monday 5 about why i had a notice certified mail from them. (never received that mail) on the 5 i get a call saying they we not going to renew my lease, i had 30 days to vacate (verbally) that night i get a notice on my door that i owe rent and late fees. I thought i was kicked out . i dont understand this process then on the 12 i receive another notice that they dont want to loose me / pay rent. i seek legal advice because i dont understand now i get an eviction notice for court HELP ?? WHY??
  • I have already signed my leasing agreement. On the day of move in i was given a different move in fee without being notified before hand. I was not allowed to move in unless i paid that fee which was not apart of my leasing agreement. Is that a breach of leasing agreement? Should I haven still been able to move in that day?

  • My step-son was arrested by Phoenix PD on 2 counts of agg. assalt w/deadly weapon. He was protecting his mother from a drunk neighbor who was about to beat his mother up at their front door. He had picked up his rifle and had it in his left hand when he open ed the door to get his mother inside their apartment and away from the drunk. My question is why was he even charged? As an ex-law enforcement officer I would see this a self-defense. The state is now wanting to give him up 25yrs per count. Is there any case histories that a ruling would apply this case to self-defense.

  • My wife is permanatly disabled under social security disablity. Part of her disablitiy is problems with comprehension. Between her learning disablity and hearing impairment, she has a really hard time comunicating with doctors and insurance companies. She just can't comprehend these things. She wants me to be her Medical Power of Attorney so that she doesn't have to deal with insurance companies customer service. The only information I can find is related to seniors. Can you help us?
