  • I was charged with(DV) but my ex-spouse called the district attorneys office and told them that I never hurt her or had physical contact with her... I keep telling the courts "why am i being charged with a crime if there's no victim, & the so-called victim called the DA's office to inform them about that there was no assult... I do have a very bad pass record but in none of my passed have i ever had a DV on my record... Could use some advice on this matter... Thank you for your imput....
  • My mother is 89 & recieved notice of a civil suit being filed against her for a debt. She has dimensia and severe memory loss. The court & rules state she must file an answer, or an att., which she cannot afford. I have durable power of att., but court said i can't file for her. The company gave $25 towards water but will not give any credit towards the rent. What can we d?
  • I have a Living Trust that has my daughter as the executor. I want to change it to have my granddaughter as the executor however the company that wrote up the trust says my daughter has to be present in order to change the trust. Is there a law that says she must be present?

I paid this, but never signed an adendum to the original lease - this is my first apt rental. Do I have any recourse to ask for the $50/mo back (now totaling $250) since the amount was never part of my lease or because I paid it, does it mean implied acceptance and binding. They are charging me a break lease fee and I'm trying to get them to come down on the amount. I feel I was taken advantage of since I'm young.

How do you get around the publication issue if they are leaving on tour of duty forthwith. Is there not a special provision for this type of name change AND can they get one.
  • A set of keys was used to rob the residence three weeks ago *with me in the home*. I stayed locked in my room since I was unsure of what was happening. Went out, things strewn everywhere, my stereo system stolen, the mail key used to steal packages expected that day. Landlord still refuses to change the locks. First excuse was that it would infringe on the rights of the roommate suspected of handing out her keys (or even helping with the robbery in person). Is what my landlord doing landlord negligence? These people have a KEY to my HOME! Isn’t there some responsibility for tenant safety???
