I was my mother's caregiver since 2011. Mother passed in 2014, Mother left a beneficiary deed to me and brother. Brother has claimed the home and wants to evict me and my daughter.

My apartment is partially furnished, a bed. The bed is used and very uncomfortable. The mattress is old. What can I do to get a new bed? Is it legal for my landlord to keep used mattresses in his units? Also, he says that if I buy a new mattress, I have to leave it there when I move out. The lease stipulates that I cannot remove or modify the existing furniture. So can he do this ?

I was discharge from bankruptcy chapter 13 in march of 2013. the main purpose was to keep my home which I owed $1,300. at the time of my bankruptcy in 2009 I had quantum servicing as my servicer. and as 8-2013 I have statebridge. they say that I am behind on my payments as of 1-2012 because thats how quantum gave them my account. my trustee paid quantum in 2010 the $1,300 how can they say I owe money. I've heard that you can use FMLA "days' for various reason such as PTSD, Migraines and such. Is this true/valid? I don't see this sort of description under the act itself.If covered under this I heard you were protected for one year where you cannot be fired for taking various days off due to a short term illness.

If my spouse bought a home that is most likely going into foreclosure. I was not involved in any way for the purchase of this property nor am I on the title. I do however pay the mortgage on this property. If this goes to foreclosure, can the lender come after me for any reason?

I am representing myself, Pro Per in a short 1 hour hearing on temp orders. I am the petitioner and the respondent is listing me as on e of her witnesses to call. Can I refuse to take the stand as her objective will be to get me to testify against myself and I cannot cross examine myself after? Also can I and how could I ask the Judge to not grant every witness she has submitted, time on the stand, as that will run out the clock with so many of them? I have not called any witnesses because we only were given an hour and thought this was only to go over the details of already submitted evidence
