QUESTIONS

  • I am a grandparent I have paid for everything for granddaughter since the day she was born now my daughter says I have never done anything for her and says that I'm not her grandmother what court papers do I need to file to get visitation with my granddaughter
  • A few years ago, my father went bankrupt and, because I could not bear to see him homeless, I did everything I could to find an affordable home and allow him to leave in the house with me. Throughout my life, my relationship with my father has not been good and I have put up with it because, well, he is my father. I hope you understand this. It has been 2 years and his verbal abuse and demands have not ceased, they have actually escalated. Would there be any action that can be taken to evict my father from the house?
  • I am sending this for my mother. My dad left her his retirement to her but nothing else. She has about $25,000 in credit card debt (they bought a vehicle using a credit card with a 2% interest)and has an income of about $4,277 including retirement, veterans benefits and ss. Everything was fine until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone. She sold her mobile home, put the $$ in savings and moved into a senior apartment. She has recently moved into a more expensive assisted care living. Her income is enough to pay her rent but we still have to pay her $600 a month credit cards bills that my dad left her with. She only has about $1,100 in saving so either she files for bankrupcy or she just doesn't pay her credits cards anymore. She does use her credit cards so bad credit will not hurt her. I am sure that her current living location will not kick her out as long as she is paying her rent. What will happen if she doesn't pay her credit card bills anymore?
  • I am the recipient of the child support that my son is to recieve. I am not working but going to school full time, my son's father had put down on the paper work when he filed that I was making minimum wage and said that it was mandatory to have that down regardless if I was working or not. Is this true. He also says that it was mandatory that he gets to put my son on his taxes every year for four years is this true?
  • Is there a time limit between filing a legal seperation and filing a divorce?
  • approx how long will i have after the notice is served to me before i will have to move out if i cant come up with the money?
  • Can an individual sue my closed down LLC and me personally? I have no assets with this business.
  • I have taken early soc sec retirement. if i exceed the soc sec ceiling on income next year (2007), when and how is the benefit adjustment made to my current soc sec check. Do I have to file anything?
  • If someone Buys out a park where you own the trailer free and clear, are you paid out? Can you be forced to leave without compensation?
  • My husband has 3 girls from a previous marriage (joint custody) and I have one son from a previous marriage. We moved into my 1800 sq.ft. home with 3 bedrooms as it is affordable for us without straining and comfortable as we see it. My son is in one room and the girls have the second bedroom with a bunk bed with a third trundle bed so each is able to sleep alone. However, thier mother is arguing that we don't have enough space for them and they aren't allowed to share a room. Is there a law or any grounds to this? Is our living arrangement acceptable?
