My adult probation officer informed me that she was "required by law" to receive a notarized letter from my employer - I asked if there was a standard format letter I could review and she said no. I have no issue verifying employment through typical means but I feel a letter that is arbitrary is a bit unfair. I just want someone to show me the "required by law" part???

My trial was scheduled more than 10 months after the Plaintiff filed a lawsut. It has been over 2 months since my trial and there has been no ruling. Can I file a post trial motion to dismiss based on the 10 month rule in Az? This is a civil debt matter and I filed everything in a timely fashion. At trial the judge halted the trial half way thru as he said he was unfamiliar with the new amended AZ laws. It has been over 365 days since they file a complaint and over 2 months since we both gave him our memorandum of case law after trial. Question is should I wait for a decision or file a motion?

If I Owe 3,000 to my private owner how much of that money will i pay if i wasn't in a lease agreement and she didnt have me sign a new one after my 1st one was up...But On My Credit I Have An Eviction I Want It Off But I Feel The Money She's Wants I Shouldnt have to pay if i wasn't on a lease anymore correct? I have a 17 yr old daughter who has a baby and just moved back with me. She was staying at a friends house for 3 months! She turns 18 in January she is mean to me calls me names and is mean to her brother who has autism! Is there anyway I can make her and her baby move before she turns 18?

My ex husband and my self are going to court to modify our child support since our oldest child turned 18. My question is since we divorced he had 2 other childred after ours that he now pays support for. When we modify can he deduct that amount he pays for his second child support off his imcome when we file for modifaction?

I have been living in my unit since July 2014. Now I did not have roaches before I moved in but once I moved in, I started seeing them here and there. I did notify my leasing office management about the issue and have had my unit sprayed 4 times. My ex wife and I have been divorced for 18 months and it involved two kids. Our divorce decree and final agreement is filed in Rogers County Oklahoma. I now live in Arizona and have since the separation in May of 05. This summer my son came to visit and he has been asking his mom if he could live here and she gave me written and verbal permission that he could and now he has been here for 3 months with the agreement that we would modify the final agreement and child support. He is enrolled in school and school activities and after school activities and is doing very well. She is now wanting him to come back to Oklahoma and I want to file documents to keep her from doing this........can I do it here in Arizona or does he have to be here for a certain amount of time?
