  • By law How many days does a landlord have to hold your possession?
  • I have lived in a home for over 10 years with my husband and children, this house is in his mother's name. Recently we are separating due to domestic violence and I am still removing my belongings from the home. His mother sent me an eviction notice today demanding I am out of the home fully today. Is there anything I can do to have another week.
  • my mom is in the hospital. she had minor surgery but does not want to do therapy at hospital. Now the doctor is saying they r going to put her in a home but she live with me at home . can the doctor do this with out some type of concent ?

  • We found mold and water damage in our unit. The landlord put me in a hotel for 8 days and then said i will have to find somewhere else to stay because the issue would take 2 months and the unit would be uninhabitable. She then wants me to just go find somewhere to live for the time it is getting fixed. Isnt she supposed to provide me somewhere to stay while this gets fixed? She wants to return my rent for a prorated amount for the 8 days i was in a hotel. Shouldn't she give me the full rent back if the hotel didn't have a kitchen and was noy equivilent to what i was renting?
  • My granddaughters are 13, 12, and 10. Their father is a truck driver and has called them insisting that he is coming to get them for the summer. They have told him they do not want to go with him. He said they have to. Can these girls be forced to go with him? He has no residence, he lives in his truck, eatting and bathing in truck stops. He calls only now and then, sometimes not for six to eight months depending if his current "woman trucking companion" will allow it. Right now he is between women, his last one facing jail time for Shop Lifting. The girls can not afford a lawyer. thanks
  • I had a DUI in 2005. I thought everything was done. In 2014 the court issued a warrant for my arrest ( I found out because they suspended my concealed weapons license ) .I called the city court and they said it was over a DUI in 2005. I went to court , and the judge said I did not do 36 hours of alcohol treatment. I had receipts for traffic school, MADD school, level 1 school . The attorney I had, when I called him, said that a retired judge was going back thru all the DUI cases because Tucson was broke and was trying to get more money from everybody. Is this legal after 9 years?

  • I rented a home in December 2010. At the time it had no cooling of any kind except ceiling fans. Landlord said at time she took out window A/C 's because previous tentans did not take care of them. Can I break a 1 year lease for lack of cooling if she doesnt put some A/C units in?
