QUESTIONS

  • I appologize for the repeat question but I cannot find my reference number. My sister is currently serving a jail sentence and my nephew is staying with his father. There is no court order on custody parenting time etc. but since my sister has been in jail his father is hasn't allowed me visitation with him. I am an active part of his life where I would have him 1-2 nights a week while both of them were at work and for the past month I haven't been able to see him or speak to him. His father has blocked my number so I cannot even check on his well being.
  • Had a car pulled out in front of me and I hit him broadsided and totaled my motorcycle and have injuries. He was cited and I found out 3 weeks later he has no insurance. What can I do?
  • I was granted an order of protection from a judge after receiving death threats from former employer for resigning after enduring abuse. They are now harassing me by means of my unemployment. Such as making up lies about me and appealing constantly. They are even giving bad reviews of me to potential employers. What are my options??
  • My husband and I are separated and I need to know my rights about taking our 5 year old daughter out of state on vacation. He has a past felony and a history of domestic violence. He has been abusive towards me and that is why I left. He's never been abusive to our daughter. He is preventing me from seeing her most of the time and has forbid me from taking her out of state while I'm off work for the summer. I work at a high school and get the summer off. He doesn't work. I am the sole supporter in our family. Do I have the right to take her out of state temporarily?
  • I asked a question in Sep 2019 about being able to see my grandson. Daughter and her husband are still married and he is controlling her. What legal recourse do I have. PLEASE RESPOND AS IT HAS BEEN MONTHS SINCE I ASKED THIS QUESTION!!!
  • I am my mother's caregiver. She is 87 years old and requires me to be home 24/7. I cannot get a job because of this situation. Is there compensation for me as a caregiver through her health benefit plan, medicare or some other avenue. I am glad to be her caregiver but it has put a strain on us financially. Thank you.
  • Our landlord has not fixed out hot water or stove. It has been over a month and she has not fixed the items. I have text telling her they they were not working and she never sent anyone to fix it. She told me I have 30 days to move because there are too many problems. I am withholding my rent because it is not fixed. Can she evict me
  • My sister recently had a child & her boyfriend signed the birth certificate & the baby has his last name. Recently, they found out he isn't the father. How does he go about removing his name & changing her last name?
  • I work for a private Fiducairy Company in AZ. I have a client who is in a year lease at an apartment complex. He ended up in the hospital three weeks ago and his physicians are stating he cannot return home and must be placed in nursing care facility. The Apartment complex is stating he must pay next months rent and a $700.00 fee to break the lease. Are there any provisions or statutes in the Landlord Tenant Act that would help my client. He is on a fixed income and lives on his monthly VA benefits and Social Security. He does not have extra resources to pay for rent at the apartment and pay for a nursing facility too.
  • A Felony 6 Non-designated was designated as a Misdemeanor 1. I was told by the court that my rights were altered during the time period it was an Undesignated felony 6 (voting and gun rights). The charge in the case has now been "Vacated and Dismissed". Have all of my rights been restored or do I need to process and other documentation?
