  • Does my landlord have a right to ask about proof of employment- even if I am paying my rent on time and in full each month? I have also paid all of the security, final month rent, and non refundable moneys when I moved in. He asked for proof of employment and bank account numbers on the application, I gave him my current which was out of state, now he is insisting on current employment and income amounts. • I was renting a trailer for over a year and about 8 months ago I started getting sick. I moved bedroom furniture and discovered mold on the wall. I immediately moved out but had to leave 2 beds, couches, pillows, comforters, etc. My daughter and I ended up on my moms floor with no pillows or blankets so I asked for $200 of my security deposit back and was told I had to sign a waiver before I received my money. Before I moved in a pipe had burst and was fixed by the maintenance man who came in and told me the mold was probably in the walls the whole time. Is there anything I can do?
  • I am currently married to my 1 yr olds mother. She has taken him and left the state and does not plan on returning. What can I do to get joint custody of my son.
  • I recently filed to relocate myself and my son to California. After his father and I could not agree on the move, the case was given to the judge for decision and it was declined. According to our parenting plan, neither parent is allowed to take the child out of state for vacation. My mom, whom has helped me raise my son since age 1, is wanting him to visit but without his dad's approval he is not able to go. Would my mom be able to file for grand parent's rights? And would this allow for him to be able to travel to California for vacation? All advice appreciated.
