  • I have lived in my park for 16 years, gone thru at least 4 management changes and decided to sell my mobile home and move. I have only ever signed the original lease, no addendums, have never been provided any new rules or regs, have continuosly asked to have my electric and water bills researched, and have NEVER gotten a response as to why when I lived away from the home for a month my water bill was $92. Now, since I have sold my home, the management company is coming after me for the last month rent and utilities. I requested a copy of he standing lease on my account and they refused.

  • I filled an application and put $200 down for a deposit. I told the complex I wanted to move in. I asked for my deposit back. Initially the complex stated they would give me a refund. But a few days later the apartment manager noted I was not going to receive a refund. I have not heard from the complex and I would like my $200 back. Is there anything I can do?
  • I live in apartments and the management is trying to back charge us an increased city tax rate of 2.9% for the past month and going forward. I know the rate is subject to change, but don't they have to give us a 30 day written notice of the change and rent increase? The residential rate here in Glendale is 2.2%, are they legally even able to enforce the higher rate without a tax increase? What kind of actions can I and other residents take?

The landlord let an exterminator in to the apartment when no one was home with permission. After this, the landlord stated that the apartment was a health hazard because of clutter & cat small & it had to be fixed. Landlord contacted Housing assistance & complained. They said it had to be corrected. The apartment was cleaned, the majority of belongings were thrown away, & everything was tidy, still not good. 8 tenants when moved in, now 2. What recourse?
