Aug. of 2010 the sheriff came to my house telling me the landlord called them because no one should be living there and I needed to call her. He dialed his cell phone. The lady on the other end said I need to send my rent to her. I asked what happened to my landlord was she dead and did not get a response. On Sept 1st I started to send her my rent. We have no written or verbal agreement. The property tax bill is in a dead persons name. Now she wants to evict me because I told her the roof leaks. Can she do this?

If there is a conflict of dates, Father's schedule shall have preference in odd years and Mother's schedule shall have preference in even years. I am assuming this means he can only take the children on vacation during summer months or school break longer than 4 days. .... and the Consent Decree of Dissolution of Non-Covenant Marriage With Minor Children states the following: Custody and Parenting Time ... h.Vacation. We have found black toxic mold in the house we are renting and we just gor the report back from the inspection expert and it has confirmed the mold to be highly toxic. We are afraid that once we tell the landlord he will evict us. What are our rights? We have asked the landlord to fix things in the past and his answer was I will let you out of the lease instead of fixing the problems.We really could use some legal advice.Thank you.

My neighbors were evicted from their home. Myself and roommates were helping the family by letting them use our personal items not knowing about anything like this, they never disclosed that they might be evicted. what do we need to do and when will the renters be able to come back to move their stuff and give us back our stuff? I have a 1 year lease to rent a house, in that lease was added that have the option to extend for 1 year with a 5% increase in rent. I tried to exercise my option at the end of the lease per the agremment but the landlord say he does not want to. They are offering to pay me to get out and I said that would be fine so I calculated my expense to make the move to other comparable accommodations. He refuse to pay the amount and says to to get out or we will go to litagation, . I feel he is in breach of contract. Id rather stay than collect what I feel is my costs to make the move.

My girlfriend is due any day now. She has been doing drugs throughout the pregnancy and trying to put the baby up for adoption. I am the father and am out of work and don't have a stable place to live. If both my girlfriend and I agree can I sign the baby over to my mom and will Cps still get involved if we do so. She just signed an adoption plan so would my mom still be able to take the baby home. I am against the adoption.

I am listed on our home’s Deed of Trust/Title with his name as joint with right of survivorship. Can unsecured credit card debt end up as liens filed against the title?
