  • Toilet's blocked by flushing sanitary towels down the toilet. Who pays? Landlord or tenant?
  • My friend has been living in a house that is owned by someone no longer able to care for herself.He was living in the residence helping the lady with taking care of the house and chores that needed to be done in exchange for rent. When the lady became sick and went to the hospital my friend was allowed stay and keep up the house. Before leaving the hospital she was deemed not able to make decisions or take care of herself. A fiduciary was appointed to handle all of her property and now he wants to put the house up for sale. He then ordered my friend out on the house in 2 days. Is that ok?

We drafted a renewal page, mailed it to her to sign. we included a prepaid, self addressed envelope.   • I have been employed in AZ. for 36 years to a Texas based company. They have sent notice that I enroll in direct deposit by Dec.1st,2014 in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement made by my union in july 2008. providing that, "the carrier may implement arrangements for the direct deposit of any payments due its employees covered by this agreement." They did not offer alternatives or consequences for failure to do so, only that I would be "subject to remedy." Can they force me to direct deposit or "remedy"? I currently receive my pay bi-monthly via USPS. Thank you.
  • Can a landlord, as part of the lease, require the tenant to agree to only require 12 hours entry notice? Our new lease includes a provision that acknowledges the appropriate section of the ARS, but does not mention the 'two days' requirement. Quoted here... "Tenant agrees that Landlord, its agents and contractors, shall have the right to enter into the leased premises, or any portion thereof, upon twelve (12) hours oral or written notice to Tenant, for the purpose of inspecting the same or performing such repairs or maintenance as the Landlord deems reasonably necessary.
  • In 2017 I was applying for apartments and an eviction came back, I was unable to rent because of this eviction. The eviction is ACTUALLY from 2014 but lists as 2017. Secondly, I served/hand delivered and signed and dated a notice to the front office for vacating the lease due to domestic violence with a copy of my court order. THE DAY AFTER we were SUPOSSEDLY to be in court for eviction. There was a notice posted on the door AFTER I left the residence for domestic violence, and I had NO IDEA of this until 2017. Can this be removed?? And how???
