QUESTIONS

  • I am currently renting a mobile home in a 55+ community. Our trailer is old, but the tenant does not want to do any repairs on it. Our AC is only getting down to 86 degrees, and has been 92 degrees inside for the past week. Is this legal? I also have pets.
  • In Az is it illegal for a used car dealership to sell a vehicle that had not yet been emissioned tested first? I have read on the Arizona Dept. of Enviromentak Quality page that they do,does this mean the contract I signed is technically void? Please dont judge me as i have had other repos and garnishments for them and they have all been paid for. i bought the car in late december 2012 and it wasnt till late feb. 2013 when they finally had to do an emissions test as my license plate wouldnt be mailed off till it was done. Thanks for any help with this.

  • My landlord turned off the air conditioning between Nov 2014 and March 2015. The ac is controlled per bldg. I read ARS 33-1364 and spoke to two different people at Neighborhood services. Both stated the management company violated the law because it is not stated in the lease that the ac will be cut off between Dates A & B.
