  • what is the meaning of domestic violence, and how many years can you get for this
  • I have 3 questions and many other questions but I will just add 3 , if this form will let me. How can I get free or reduced legal help against landlords and the other question how do get the same thing for a will?? Also the same thing against corrupte stores and company's??I live in direr poverty and really just can't afford anything unfortunately and it's not my fault. I am an orphan the state ruined my life and took everything from and left me in direr poverty with noway out that's why I can't afford a lawyer nor anything. A little help not advise would help. Don't want a hand out nor pity
  • Im rent an apartment for my son who is in school. His normal electric bill has been 54-59 dollars a month. His AC started having problems and the apartments handyman looked at it and said it was fine but in 2 1/2 months he ran up an $892.00 eletric bill. The manager finaly had a real repair man in and fixed it. Now the bill is back to normal. But they refuse to pay the bill. They just continue to tell us they dont reinburse for electrical. I cant pay the bill all at one time and now the electric company said they are going to turn off the power if not paid in full by June 29th. What can I do??
  • I rent a studio apt for 375 a month and have never been late. I told the landlord I can pay on my next check (rent is due on the 18th) but he said if I don't pay by the 23rd he will start the eviction process but he won't if I give him half. I don't even have that to give him can he do that
  • I've heard that you can use FMLA "days' for various reason such as PTSD, Migraines and such. Is this true/valid? I don't see this sort of description under the act itself.If covered under this I heard you were protected for one year where you cannot be fired for taking various days off due to a short term illness.
  • One of my creditors has chosen to sue me to collect a debt. Supposedly a judgement was issued against me, but the paperwork was so confusing, I could not understand it. I do not own a home or a car and my only income is Social Security. The letter from the agency selected by the credit card company says there are various means they can use to collect. My question is, what CAN they do to me? A call to the agency got me nowhere. I am also the sole caregiver for my handicapped mother.
