QUESTIONS

  • I have lived on a property for five years and there are new property mgmt who have stopped landscaping, raised rent, didn’t do a walkthrough. Only communicate via email/text. My AC has been out two days and nobody has contacted me to come fix it and when I messaged the company they’re rude.
  • Summary: My landlord sent me a notice to vacate from the residence using a text message. Is a text message a legally binding notice to vacate? Full: I have been a tenant for 4 years at the residence. My lease expired July 13, 2018. We did not renew the lease this year, so I've been paying month-to-month. I got a new out of state job and scheduled the movers for July 13. She suddenly sent me a text message on May 30 to vacate by July 1. She did not give me notice that she was looking for a new tenant. I have never been late or delinquent on rent payment. What are my legal options?
  • I left my abusive husband almost 6 years ago and have been trying to get divorced but the lawyers and he are dragging their feet because I'm paying him support. I recently found out that he called our health insurance co (he's under my plan because we are still legally married) and changed the address listed, which was mine, to his. So now he knows where I live and I fear for my life. I have moved 3 times in the last 6 years and I thought I was safe. Do I have any legal recourse to have him arrested?
  •  6 days ago my daughter was removed from my care, no complaint of abuse or neglect of any kind was made. She was removed from my care due to the fact that I have a diagnosis of PTSD. Once I was diagnose with that I enrolled in counseling. I have been doing that for 7 months now every week. My psychiatrist and therapist both state that I am not a danger to myself or to my child however CPS claims that she cant in my custody. No legal action has been taken, nor have their been any court orders, but they claim that I can only be with her under supervision and cannot spend the night with her.

  • When the offender is escorted by law enforcement to pick up his belongings from a shared residence. Is it a law that the officer stay present at ALL time as protection?
  • I see repeatedly in agreements that Tenant is "responsible" for insuring the mobile home. The Act itself doesn't address this, and the agreements also state the Act supersedes the agreements. Is insuring the mobile home a "requirement" in Arizona, or a Tenant "responsibility" which a Tenant could choose to do or not do?
  • I just moved from Florida and had benefits with them. Am I eligible for benefits in Arizona even though my Florida benefits have not been closed yet?
