  • Is there any provisions that afford the landlord from renting to felons?
  • My mom passed away september 2018 the trailer her and her husband owned a mobile hone in a 55t community where they rented the space. I found out that after mom died her husband walked away from the trailer and owed lot rent. I thought he was paying everything. I found out they had been taken to court. It is now almost a year later snd i want my moms trailer and all her personal things that were in there but the park has a lock on the trailer. What are my rights what do i do.
  • Been in same mobile home park for 4 years, living in our travel trailer. We've always paid 1 yr. in advance to receive a substantial discount due to tiered pricing. In June, we're usually offered a pre-reservation discount, but must pay the future year in advance. We've usually declined due to lack of $$ in June, but agree we will be renewing when our rental agreement is up. This year they told us they had a prospective new tenant and if we didn't renew w/1 yr advance payment...we would lose our spot. Is this legal?

I feel they should never sleep under the same roof as him. My Ex wife thinks it is ok and contually takes the children to his house and spends the night there with them. There have never been any legal actions taken against the abusive father/grandfather. However should I take it further?
  • My daughter had sex with her 16 year old boyfriend after school. She lives with her dad. I have had him over on weekends but I have supervised them. Now they say they had sex at my place. Can anything be done to me. I didn't know they had sex here.
  • The landlord recently handed out notices to everyone that they owe tax on their January rent and the rent tax has increased 2%. There was no notification of the increase and they are also taxing the tax amount stated in the lease. Example: My rent is $550 + $10tax, I now owe $1.10 for January and $1.10 every month there after. I know the amounts are low but in principal. Can they do this and try an evicition over it?
  • A pipe busted and flooded my apartment. It's been 2 weeks and they still have fans blowing and a humidifier. I'm pretty sure I see mold in walls and our manager is denying. I took videos. Also, I have an srp box that I load money on for electricity. I use $45 a month. I've already spent $100 in less than 2 wks in electricity cause manager said fans have to stay on 24hrs and it's my responsibility to keep electricity on or they will get lawyers involved. I can afford to keep putting electricity. I've been out of my home almost 2 weeks. Please help.

If the rental agreement specifies that the tenant is responsible for maintenance and repairs of all appliances provided in the home, is the landlord obligated to use a home warranty fund for such repairs?
