My fridge was broken upon move-in. My landlord says I am required to be home to let repair people in, but I am not able to. Is it the responsibility of the landlord to make sure someone's at the property to allow repairs?

I let a friend stay with me in my new apartment, however she isn't listed on the lease. She paid rent one month out of the three months I've been there and paid utilities for the second month only. Can I ask her to leave immediately since she isn't paying rent but gets mail to my resident, or do I have to give her a notice?

My son is a college student, he has never been in trouble (age 19 soon to be 20). He was arrested for a misdemeanor for minor in consumption, and giving false information to officer (lied about his name shortly after came clean). Do we need to retain an attorney to get this cases expunged or set aside?

I am at 0 earning potential, have 3 kids (1,4,7), the 2 oldest are from the marriage, the baby is from current relationship. my ex is taking me back to get the 0 earning potential changed.Day care for all my kids would be all of my paycheck! would they still change it like I am working when I am not? My niece used her grandfather's SSN and DOB and baby's SSN and DOB to obtain loans from a payday loan place online. She did not repay the loans and they went to collections. The collection agency called her grandfather to collect. In order for the debt to be deleted from her grandfather, he had to file a police report. What is the possibility of my niece being charged with identity theft and or fraud? What would the possible sentence be?

We gave a deposit hold to a real estate agent who said it was to keep our application in first place. In order to rent the house, they were needing 6 months rent ahead of time. She received the hold on the 16th, we submitted an incomplete application on the 17th and on the 21st she requested the remainder. On the 22 I informed her that we would not be able to provide the 6 months of prepaid rent to her as we originally thought and that otherwise we were not eligible to rent the property. She is now saying that we have no right to our hold. On the application it says deposits can be refunded
