  • My grandson is 5 and has spent most of his life in my custody. He states he hates going home because there isn't any food or the electricity is turned off. Mom has since had 3 other children, and the father is threatening to take them. My concern is he is being neglected. She can't keep a home, she's very transient, can't keep a job, and has a house of women who berate and verbally abuse my grandson. With me, he has consistency and structure. Every now and then mom wants him back, but it's only briefly. Is there any way for me to get guardianship I worry so much for him?
  • We sold a home in Hereford AZ that is in an HOA. At closing we were charged $800 for a disclosure fee. The state statute allows a maximun of $400. We told the HOA this and they refused to let us close unless this was paid. The statute also states that the HOA could be fined up to a $1200 for this. Who can we complain to to get get this investigated?

  • I am concerned that my landlord did not follow the law in the Landlord Tenant Act (section 33-1321) concerning Landlord Obligations for security deposits. The law says “Within 14 days after termination of tenancy…the tenant shall be provided an itemized list of all deductions…” I received an itemized list of repairs within 14 days but there were no dollar amounts showing what would be deducted from my deposit. 54 days later, they provided an itemized list with deductions. The law does not say only provide an itemized list of repairs. The law says provide an itemized list of repairs WITH deductions. Since they did not provide the dollar amount of deductions within 14 days, did they violate the law? If yes, what do I do?

  • I am trying to get a contact number for the clearinghouse. I am retired military my ex wife qualifies for 42.5% of my military pay. When we the divorce was final my lawyers had the spousal maintenance taken out of my military pay instead of my civilian pay that was corrected this month now they are taking money out of my civilian pay but no one sent anything to DFAS so they are still paying her 1000 dollars a month and they are also taking 1000 from my civilian pay the court order says tha I will pay 1000 dollars a month spousal maintenance and she gets 42.5 percent of my retirement not 2000
  • My AC is not been working properly for eight days now I have been very calm very patient I went down there in tears this morning with my four-month-old baby and beg them to fix it today I came home with yet another note saying that it’s blowing at 52° yet me and my four-month-old are sweating what can I do from this point going forward I cannot continue to live this way we are very uncomfortable and my rent has been paid in full for months
