  • I have had a debt that was disputed, the credit card company kept adding fees and interest until they found we would not pay. It has been 10 years now they are threatning to serve me with a summons, my question is there a statute of limitations. Ten years is very long time to try and find documentation to present in the event of a court hearing. My email address is [email protected] if you could notify me of the results of my question.
  • My house has rats and landlord hired an exterminator who laid bait under the wood floors and the rats died in the house. The house now smells putrid and my landlord refuses to hire someone to remove the rats. I don't know what to do, I can't even stay in my own house. Also after I read through our rental agreement I noticed that she has snuck in little clause stating that if I take any type of legal action towards her she has the right to evict me. Is any of this legal?!
  • I want to contest a parking ticket that I received in Prescott. The ticket is written to show I was issued this ticket after 10 minutes between marking and issuing in a 2 hour zone. I live in Phoenix and the cost to drive to court to have this ticket thrown out will be greater than the ticket. My ex-husband lives in Prescott, can he go to court to represent me in this matter?
  • I have a trust fund that was set up for myself and brother when our mom passed away in 1990. My grandma was the trustee until she passed away 4 years ago. My brother is now the trustee along w my aunt. I do not have a good relationship w either of my trustees and I cannot get any communication from my brother about my trust. I have repeatedly requested info about my trust but I never get a response of any kind. I dont even know if my trust can legally be kept from me anymore or if it shld have been dispersed by now. My brother wont give me any info so I need to knw what my options are & rights
  • I have shared custody with ex husband (divorced 2005) with our 16 year old. He has had residential custody since 2011. He was abusive to our now 24 year old and has repeated physical and mental abuse with our 16 yr old. I can't afford legal counsel and live in a different state. What can be done from my current state of residence to obtain physical custody asap. The State Agency and police officers prior have stated that it's just discipline. What 200 lb man needs to choke, hold down on floor with knee in chest to discipline a less than 130 lb girl? Very smart. Honor roll student.
  • Unemployment is attempting to collect almost $5000 in overpayments that they claim to have paid me from as far back as 5 years ago. I don't have documentation from that far back. The amt. started out at about $600. I disputed that and then they did some kind of audit. Now they claim I owe them $5000! What do I do?
  • I am listed as an occupant in my boyfriends apartment. There was an incident that i allegedly damaged a car parked outside the apartment complex gates. The incident was reported 2 weeks ago and there is no physical evidence that proves i did it ans no arrest was made after being questioned by police. I was delivered with a notice to vacate the apartment or my boyfriend would be evicted. Is this legal? Can they do that? We're current and paid up on our rent as well.
