  • I was notified today that my property management company is no longer under contract with the owners due to a death of the main owner. What are my rights as far as if I just move out or how long do I have until locks are changed?
  • I am not sure if this is the correct category but. Here it goes. I moved into a house with a shared well for 5 properties. One house is not built still. When w moved in we were paying into the well fund. We wanted to see the account and they refused so we stopped paying. We asked the neighbors and they said not to because no one was and when the current well fund was gone we would start a new one. The other three houses lived there for 3 years before us. When the now well fund was started they said we owed back payments for 30 months at 50 a month. I did pay 800 of it
  • I got married to someone incarcerated in 2005, at the time I didn't know he had a life sentence. I soon heard that a marriage was not legal if someone had a life sentence or had to be consummated. In AZ there are no conjugal visits allowed. I was not ok with some things he was doing and I asked for a divorce in 2007 and stopped all contact. We do not have anything in common and want to know if I file for annulment or divorce and how to go about that, I would like to be divorced and get my maiden name restored. He stated that he will not give me a divorce or sign papers.
  • I have been living in my apartment for 9 years. The first year, I signed a one year lease and paidnfirat and last months rent and a security deposit of $200. What are my rights when it comes to my security deposit, being a technically month to month renter? Also our landlord is selling the complex... what are my rights in that regard to the security deposit as well? Also, there are rumors it will be sold to an investor that may just tear the complex down... what would my right be in that regard to the security deposits?   • I went to DCSE to have my support modified. My daughter just turned 17 on 4/12 & graduated high school 6/12. They said they STOPPED MY CHILD SUPPORT because they said she graduated! She has health issues & I need to find doctors where she will be going to college (in Hawaii). I need to file disability for myself. She JUST barely turned 17. Can they do that? 
  • I received a letter from an attorneys office stating that the home I am renting has been forclosed on.  How long do I have before being evicted? How do I recoup my deposit if I do not withold rent?
  • I am an Indian residing in Phoenix on work visa. I was assaulted by another Indian. I shifted to her house and just after 2 days she assaulted me on domestic matter, as she was the primary lease holder and my name was not on lease , i had to move out after she called the cope. I want to press charges against her.
  • I was a stay-at-home mom for the majority of my marriage. During that time I accrued some student loans. In our separation agreement we each agreed to pay half of that, and any other, debt. A lawyer I spoke with stated that I am eligible for alimony (we were married 9 years and I stayed home for 6 of them), but my spouse takes great exception to this. He believes that since I did not contribute, monetarily, I should not be entitled to alimony. What should my expectations be?
  • My aunt just got guardian ship of me. My father that adopted me still has custody of my aunt and I are constantly fighting she threatens to send me back to him. Now that I am 16 can move out of my aunt's house and move back in with my biological father that is her brother?
  • I gave revocable guardianship to my mom when I moved out of state so the kids could finish that school year and I started my new job. Now that I have petitioned to revoke guardianship, she is suing me for custody. I am so far and not sure how to handle this.
