  • I live on an apartment complex that has individually owned units but one HOA that covers the entire complex. The pool has been out of use all summer (green and disgusting), despite numerous complaints. Today, I noticed a flyer from the Maricopa County Environmental Health Department that the pool was closed by the county because it is in violation of health codes. Is there some way I can get my rent reduced because of the lack of access to the pool? Considering I chose this location and agreed to the higher cost of living because there was a pool at the complex. Just curious about my rights.
  • Two of my rental properties have stopped watering their lawns, so now all grass is gone. I pay for landscaping when my tenants water or there are weeds, but no need lately with no grass or weeds. My concern, though, is that both homes have large queen palms, that are dying or dead from no watering, I believe. If lack of watering kills the palms, can I charge the renter for the removal? Thank you.

  • Can an HOA stop or fine a person for using a motorcycle stating that we are creating noise pollution? The motorcycle is my main form of transportation to work. I didn't see anything about use of a motorcycle during certain hours.
  • I have forms to add my name to my Birth Certificate from 2002, but got sick and did not complete. Can I still use the forms and how much do I need to pay? I can not get through by phone, why is that?
  • I moved into a manufactured house on the first of april with two small dogs. In the lease it states that I can have two small dogs and two domestic cats. The other day my landlord came and verbally told me I could not keep my dogs in doors at night and if I do I have 30 days to move out. Can he do that? It says nothing in my lease about not being able to bring them in at night. I understand he doesn't want them roaming around inside while Im at work all day!! dog's are house trained. He wants me to write a letter stating I want to move out because of this.
  • I started Beauty School in Sept 07, I was 17 at the time.The school had me sign for the loan without a co-signer. My parents filled out the paper for the Pell Grant and wanted to pay so much monthly. The school said I had to have a Subsidized Stafford loan to get the Pell Grant.Am I responsible for the loan? Since I was told afterwards that it was not a legal binding contract due to my age and that neither one of my parents co-signed on it?
  • I have a child support agreement from the Maricopa County. My ex wife and son lives in Tucson, AZ I have recently moved to Tucson to be closer to my child. How do I start a child support modification in Tucson when the agreement was settled in Maricopa County?
  • when I divorced my ex wife in 2003, the decree did not state a clear awarding of my military pension since I was still active. I will be going to court to fight the amount I have to pay. She waited over 19 months to let me know she wanted the money. I agree to pay but only at the lower amount (E5) vice (E8). any info is greatly appreciated.
  • if we served someone with a 3 day notices about 2 months ago is that still good to open a case or would we have to serve another one?
