QUESTIONS

  • I understand that the age of adulthood is 18 in Arizona. While it may seem like a silly question, I wanted to make absolutely sure that this applies to my high school's ability to require parental consent or signatures, or notify my parents without my permission. They seem to be under the impression it does not. If this does apply to the school, I assume a simple state issued I.D. would suffice to prove my age?
  • My mom and dad were seperated for many years but still married. She passed away. Her will was changed not long before she died making the man she lives with the beneficiary. Isn't my dad still entitled to her estate, or a percentage of it if still legally married
  • Are landlords responsible for termites/ swarmers in apartment complex!? Lease states they cover “pest control but excluding “wood eating insects” and they are not responsible for any damage to my property because of them... !? That cant be legal. Its like living outside with all these flying termites.
  • I have prepaid for lot ten for 5 months, after moving to the park in my 5th wheel my 90 yr old spouse is having a hard time medical wise with his deminta and health and we need to sell it & maybe purchase a single level park model in the same park...how do I go about transferring the deposit orgetting a refund?
  • I work at home and currently have Joint 50/50 decision-making and parenting time. If I continue to exercise my first right of refusal while the other party is working would that be helpful when going back to court post-decree to help get more time with the children?
  • My ex-girlfriend and I obviously separated and have not done any legal custody paperwork with our (she is the mother) two children (ages 3 and 1). The boys constantly stay at the house that I own and never go to their mothers. She only sees them at my house for the 40 hours that I work per week and that is it. Their addresses (including the mother's mail) all come to the house that I own. She has now grown upset and wants to take the children to some long distant relative in Colorado just because she is angry. I do have the 3 year old enrolled in a local Prescott Valley school as well.
  • Can my landlord evict me for any reason at all?
  • I have been ordered to pay support but cannot due to staying home with other child. There has been a warrant issued for my arrest, what do i do?
  • I am recently divorced, and I got the house. He has personal stuff still here and I cannot get him to get it out of here. There is a lot of stuff and most too heavy for me to move. I've asked him several times to move it, even sent him letters that he had to sign for. Now he won't even answer his phone so I can pin him down on a date when he can have it done. It's his way of still trying to control my life and all I want is out and away from him. What options do I have to enforce this? It's been three months since the divorce and there was nothing on the decree that states a time limit .
  • I am being charged my full deposit 4 interior paint due to dirt on the walls and extra administration fee which requires me to pay more money is this correct under Arizona renters rights thank you very much for your time
