  • My Landlord is charging me late fees because I owe late fees. Can they do that? They charge $10 a day for late fees and I only pay $579. in rent. I know that they take out late fees first with any money you give them so they keep you behind so they can keep charging you late fees. How can that be legal?
  • I moved in to a rental in a vacation village in October before the cold weather hit. I signed a year lease with a property manager. The home is so poorly insulated that it cannot maintain heat. The cold air seeps through the floors and walls and I cannot keep warm. The electric is constantly running and it is costing me over 200.00 per month to heat 389 sq. ft. I also have health issues that are exacerbated by the cold. I do not feel this home is meant to be a full time residence. For health reasons, I cannot stay here. Do I have recourse to break my lease?
  • I am a landlord for a home in Queen Creek. I've been notified by 2 neighbors that the tenants in my home have 5+ dogs that are a barking nuisance and are conducting a breeding business. The rental contract only discloses 3 dogs and no breeding was ever mentioned. I want to know what my liability is as a landlord if the dogs get out and bite a neighbor. Am I required to maintain a tight fenced yard? Is the continual barking nuisance my concern or should I tell neighbors to call animal control?

In the meantime I keep paying more and more temporary spousal maintenance and attorney fees. The Judge keeps approving my exs requests for more time. My attorney has filed a Final Decree with the Judge. How long can the Judge take to sign a Final Decree (months or years)? What else could my attorny do to push along my case? No one but me wants the divorce to be done
