I was served with a civil court summons for an unpaid credit card debt.I was told before I stopped paying them,that it is an unsecured debt and I could not be force to pay it.two other banks that i couldn't pay any more have all ready written off debt as a bad debt.I have 20 days to respond in writing to the complaint. I purchased a home about a year ago with my domestic partner. I am the only person financially responsible for the home. I added my domestic partners name to the title as a joint ownership.
