Hi, my landlord's pool maintenance person put a lock on the pool pump for no apparent reason. We did not get a notice from the landlord about this action. We now have no control of the pool pump operation. As a tenant, I feel I have the right to full access of all properties on premise. Is this correct? is my landlord's action violate tenant's right? thank you.

I am a naturalized American citizen. Recently I got the green card for my mother she is 78 years old. Also I started the green card petition for my brother in 2008 and it was accepted. NVC told me that my brother has to wait until a visa becomes available. What do you think would be the fastest way to get a green card for my brother? Wait his turn or my mother starts the green card applications for my brother ,now that she is now lawful resident,.. My brother is divorced and has no children. My family is from Spain

I have a trustee sale date on my house 10/10/2013. Have a review for the Dept. of Justice modification still in review. Have had 9+ letter/certificates from (Proper name redacted) , paperwork has been filed with the maricopa County Recorders office as well of Foreclosure listed on my credit report. I am job hunting as well and many employers put in requirements a credit check so this makes it even more difficult for employment. I want to keep my home and receive an "affordable" modification ,not one which is higher than my original payment. Please advise help for me. Thankyou...

Is it the responsibility of the Property Management company or the tenet to bring a building up to code if the building was leased already not in code? My property management company rented me a commercial facility that was no where near up to code, five years ago. The company is now trying to force me to bring the building up to code(needs electrical, new roof, etc.) none of that was up to code when I rented it. It’s been five years of the building not being up to code, now that I’m in my last 4 months of my lease they’re pulling this. Just need advice.
