QUESTIONS

  • can one of the parents in a joint custody get the child mental health healthcare and or in crisis, without the other parent signing and or agreeing (knowledge)
  • I have been renting from a management group for 3 years. The past year and a half getting them to fix things takes weeks sometimes months. I had my glass of my patio door fall halfway out 3x. I had water leaks where it took weeks to get there and they didn't clean up water and now I have mold. They took off my lock off patio and never put on. Safety latch for pool was taken off. I have kids. My pool took a month and a half to get fixed was green where you can't see bottom. I have documentation and emails and photos. I finally had enough gave notice to move. They said no. What can I do?
  • I own a home, if I get food stamps and health care assistance, will I have to pay back when I sell home?
  • Is there a law in AZ that says a child of divorce doesn't have to go see his parent that he doesn't live with. Also, when I have my children for the little amount of time that I do, is it right that my ex-spouse is always trying to communicate with the children while they are with me? I only have them for a few days a month? The calls are just how are you type thing.
  • My ex wont tell me where he works or what he makes how much he makes, how do I get this information?
  • My husband and I have been married for 9 months and I am 7 months pregnant. My husband has a daughter from a previous relationship. His parents (my in-laws) have stated they plan to file for grandparents rights. I know they have no rights over our son since we are married, however will they lump both kids together or not since they have two different mothers? They will try for time for our son, I already know that. I guess my concern is will they get any time with him?
  • I was convicted of a 2 felonies (non-dangerous and non-repetitive) about 19-20 years ago. I'd like to now change my name but am concerned this might be a hang up. The reason i wish to change my name is simple. I don't like it, never have. most people who know me call me by the name i wish to use (first name anyway). what should I anticipate as objections or concerns? By the way, have only had one traffic ticket in the past 20 years.
  • My daughter was repeatedly sexually assaulted by her father. Now he is trying to get access to her since the criminal investigation has not resulted in charges because there were no witnesses. How can I find a lawyer to protect her?
  • Are child support records public?
  • The ac went out in our house rental at 1:30am, so I had to get myself and two small children to a hotel. We ended up staying for two nights before the AC was repaired. The landlords said they won't/don't reimburse for the hotel. I'm confused because it says in the Tenant/Landlord act that money can be withheld from rent if substitute house has to be found if the rental is uninhabitable. I have receipts for the hotel and I took the amount off the rent & now the landlords are looking to either late fee or evict me. Can they do that?! I really scared as I have two small kids & no where to go.
