My husband may receive IOU's instead of paychecks in the next month or two. Do mortgage companies offer a temporary forebearance on our loan during the time he doesn't receive a paycheck? We are current on our home but will not be able to make payments if he does not receive a paycheck.

My daughter is 2 months old. Her mother and I are not married. In the hospital filled out a form for paternity that We were told would get submitted so we could request a birth certificate for our daughter. My lease states that 2 adults are allowed to leave in the premises. I had a friend stay with me and my landlord forced me to kicked them out. He said that having somebody else stay with me without his approval meant I broke the lease and he could evict me. I have always paid rent on time and he is enforcing rules with me that he is not enforcing with the other tenants. I can't afford a lawyer and I fell harassed. What are my options?

I have been asked to appear in court in person during the month of September I am being charged with violation of ARS: 13-3619. Basically I left my son in a car for about 15 minutes with the windows rolled down because he absolutely REFUSED to get out of the car. Knowing I just had to pick up one item from the shoe store, I "ran in" to the store to get the item. I UNDERSTAND and take FULL responsibility for my lapse in judgement. My question...do you advise me to get a lawyer for this court appearance? What is the possible punishment for this violation?? Thank you!! PS: I have NO record!

My parents are on social security income only and we are evaluating whether to put my Dad in a nursing home. He would most likely be eligible for ALTCS. My parents own their home and it is the only asset left to support my mother. I heard that a nursing home can take half the house value if the house is sold within 3 years of my father entering a facility. Can the home be put into a trust for my mother or sold to a family member before my father enters a nursing home to avoid this?
