  • The father of my son has his name on the birth cirtificate and also my son has his last name. But over the last 6 months, his father has shown no real interest in wanting to see him and hasn't helped pay for any expenses. My question is, is there anyway I can get my sons last name changed to mine so his father can't decide to come back into the picture a few years from now and try to get custody?
