QUESTIONS

  • I served in the USMC for 3 years mostly as a reservist. Due to my mental health disability i was discharged with an 'other than honourable' discharge. I am on SSDI for this disability and feel that because my disease was active during my duty I should be upgraded to a 'general health' discharge. I have meritorious commendation letters from my service before my discharge.
  • We have submitted a notice to move out at the end of next month and already have signed a lease for a new house. The landlord wanta to put the house on the market beginning next month. My question is, with this Covid 19 crisis I don't feel comfortable with people coming in and out of my house meanwhile I am still living here, especially since I am a nurse and have to go to work and be around elderly people. Is there any safety measures in place for me? Whether it be future tenants wearing a mask before entering or the landlord having to wait till we move out to show the house?
  • Can I do a change of venue if I and the kids in question have lived in one place for over 7years and the mother opened case in other county where she lives? How do I request and complete change of venue to my county?
  • I am divorced and kept my married name. I am now getting married again and upon marriage want to change my last name to my maiden name hyphenated with my new husband's last name. Can I do this and what do I need to do to make that happen?
  • if i am the owner of the house do i have the right to live there when going to divorce

  • My father was in a group home in Casa Grande and then died. It's been over 60 days and they have yet to refund his $500 security deposit. We live in Michigan and wonder if we can file a small claim but not have to be present.
  • Do I get AHCCCS insurance if I have food stamps?
  • I have been living in a house since the end of May 2019 and when I came into the house there were many things wrong with it. Non functioning doors, windows, blinds, and several holes in the door that have been patched up with something that my son is allergic too and my youngest baby girl keeps picking at because its bubbly and she keeps eating it if I am not looking. I have asked them to repair several things since I have been here and they have not sent anyone and now are refusing to repair. The sink doesn't produce hot water upstairs. My toilet has been leaking. What can I do?
  • The property management is asking that I completely replace the carpet in a bedroom. I disagree, and said that it could be easily fixed with spot treatment and carpet cleaning. As stated in the original lease document that I signed; number 8 states to return the house in "good condition with normal wear and tear." They informed me (over the phone) that "spots" smaller than a quarter would NEVER be considered normal wear and tear and would come back within three months of PROFESSIONAL carpet cleaning. I'm having a carpet company evaluate document. If the company agrees with me,w hat do I do?
