  • My neighbors water heater recently needed to be replaced. The property manager was notified but the building maintenance man was out sick. It took over a week to replace the unit and complete repairs. During the time of the unit being damaged, and up to it's replacement, the cost of electricity used to power it went through the roof. Mt neighbor's electric bill overages during the two month period of the unit failing to work properly and then breaking down beyond repair, totalled $415.66. Is it the landlord's responsibility to reimburse the tenant for the cost of the electrical overages?
  • My home which is worth 230,000 was sold in a trustee sale for 12,753.85. I found out the 1st trustee has the same last name as the company president of the company that bought the property. Before the sale a substitute trustee took over. I believe this sale was done with an Irregularity in conduct and an Inadequate sales price. What recourse do I have. Time is of the essence. Today I received a "Truth Affidavit" in the mail from his personal attorney making a number of false claims and naming my business as a "shell company" in the matter. My business was never relevant in the matter. How should I proceed with this?

Would 33-1476 and 33-2149 apply here? (180 days notice and Relocation Fund)?
  • I have joint legal and physical custody of my daughter (12). The access schedule we agreed to equals exactly 50/50 physical custody. Because of my work schedule (2:30-11:00pm M-F), my current wife and family members pick my daughter up from school and care for her in the evenings during the week. My question is, would a judge penalize me for not being the one physically with her during those times when figuring child support?
