My husband started paying his child support to his ex-wife once the amount was determined - before the official court order was issued. He was paying child support directly to her instead of the Clearing House. He did this for a year. The Clearing House now says that he owes back child support and $2000 in interest. We have all of the cancelled checks. Can we dispute this?

My Son fathered 2 children with a lady who was married to someone else at the time of birth.She listed her husband as the father on the birth certificate. She was killed in an accident recently and was still legally married at the time , but had been seperated from her husband and lived with my son for 5 years.Her husband and her had filled out & had notarized a from called voluntary paternity , but never listed my son as the father , he did aknowledge he was not the father.My son had dna test done and they do show he is the biological father.How does he get the name changed on the birth certficate.He has the children , that is not an issue , just want to make sure all is legal in the eyes of the courts/state.How do we proceed ?

I signed a lease with a husband and wife to rent my mobile home in a 55 and up Resort. They are supposed to rent for January February and March 2017. They told me it was only going to be the two of them. Afterwards Once the lease was signed they stated they were going to have their sister in there for 2 weeks, then they were going to have another couple in there for 10 days, and then another visitor that was staying for a so-called long weekend. I do not have anything in my lease regarding visitors, but they it was only going to be the two of them. Can I keep the deposit if they break lease

I left my abusive husband almost 6 years ago and have been trying to get divorced but the lawyers and he are dragging their feet because I'm paying him support. I recently found out that he called our health insurance co (he's under my plan because we are still legally married) and changed the address listed, which was mine, to his. We just bought a home in Arizona. I am a 100% disabled veteran living in a hot box for the past 5 weeks.We had an inspection done before and everything was fine. We have been in the house for 5 weeks and have had a different air conditioning repair person here more than 5 times with a different reason each time. Now we have flooring from the kitchen, entry way, and laundry room that needs to be replaced because of water damage from the air conditioner. Do we have any recourse against the home inspector? I called her and she said she would refund the inspection fee, but it wasn't her responsibility for the repairs now. Every penny we have went to purchase this house and we bought a home warranty so we wouldn't have to worry about problems. The warranty company of course claiming pre-existing conditions for things, so we have to fight to get some of the costs covered with them. Is there any help for us?
