My mother is 92 and a new neighbor has recently befriended her. My mother lives alone and about 450 miles from me and refused to move in with me.I became ill and could no longer care for my mother.Family members flew in from other states to help but I lived the closest.I just became aware that my mother has been changing her financial doucuments with the help of this new neighbor.I found her writing and printing on these documents which contain my name,address,social security number.She helped my mother take my name off.She was acting as her legal guardian.My mother cannot hear or see very well and cannot drive anymore.I called this neighbor up and asked her want was going on? She said she was helping because I abandoned my mother.My mother has two medicare nurses a week that assist her and I have a licensed/bonded agency that can take her to doctors and shopping.When I called this neighbor she called the local police and said I harassed her.I tried to tell the officer on the phone that I may be the victim of identity theft and she may have copies of personal information but he said his concern was only about a phone call and didn't want to know anything else.Again,I live 450 miles away.She took my mother to the funeral home where my mother has made her arrangements and had my name crossed out and her name put in to receive my mother's ashes.I don't know what she was up to but it is all very suspicous.Is ther anything I can do? The only things missing so far that I can determine from my mother's home are clothing(which is mine)and some small items. I am so upset that this woman has personal and financial on my mother and me. Is ther anything I can do? With Appreciation,Generosa

I am currently going through a divorce, where there is no custody established, and am pregnant. I have been put on strict bedrest. I am trying to move to Nevada where I will have more help from my older children's father and be able to be on bedrest like I'm supposed to. Would I be able to file a petition for relocation with a minor, and temporarily move before the 60 days, without getting in trouble for it. And will it effect how they decide custody. Also, I have a PO against the other parent, and there has been domestic violence toward me and the children during our marriage.

I have a 4 year old step daughter and her real father does not come around and hardly ever has but pays child support. She does not have his last name she has my wife's maiden last name. I am married to her mother and was wondering how I could go about getting some kind of guardianship over her or if I can legally get her last named change because I have been around since she was a baby and doesn't believe her last name isn't the same as mine. Do I have the right to with hold rent for days I wake up with no heat? I remember having same issues last winter. The heat is included in the rent, but that doesn't give them the right to not maintain it properly. I'm sure they will "fix" it again, but it will only be temporary, and I will wake up cold again in a few weeks or so.

What if somebody is harassing me and it is escalating to the point where he's trying to get me fired from my job? I tried to get an injunction against harassment, but the court turned me down. He, however, got an injunction against workplace harassment, and everything he told the court was a verifiable why. If I can't afford an attorney, what do I do when where do I turn? This person has done the same thing to multiple victims in multiple cities. He is also a scam artist with eight aliases. I can't find anyone to help me.

Can a landlord break a lease that is between owner and the renter's

I live in a mobile home park and own the trailer, not the lot, and our landlord is saying that we have thirty days to show proof of insurance otherwise we'll get evicted. My question is can she legally force us to get insured when almost all insuranfr companies wont even touch trailers?

What if I am currently living in another state and planning on moving to Arizona . Do I still have to reapply for Medicare ?
