  • How I change my address?
  • I signed a month to month lease, but my landlord is now claiming that she made a "clerical error" and meant for the written agreement to be a year lease. She is not honoring my 30 day notice that I gave her in writing and claims I can not move out in a month. Can I pay my final month's rent and move out without penalty, and how can I ensure that she returns my deposit without taking her to court?
  • I got a possesion of marijuana charge in january of this year. It is a misdamenor less than an oz. I have a horrible juvenile record and this is my first charge as an adult. I was trying to figure out most likley whats going to happen
  • My child was given another childs bottle at the daycare/gym after which he contracted an illness. This resulted in a $1200 bill. The daycare/gym needs to be responsible for this.   • we are under contract to purchase a home in a 55+ park, the home is privately owned. at the time of signing we were given a written exception to the two dog rule by the park manager. we have to extend the closing date for two weeks and were just notified that the park rules have changed and the exception will only be granted for one year. the manager said that since the contract expires she can change the pet agreement. the exception we have does not state a time limit and the extension is only moving the closing date. do we have any recourse
  • Is it legal for a landlord to put into our lease a statement that says "If for any reason during the duration of this lease agreement the relationship between Lessor and Lessee is soured, Landlord reserves the right to serve a 30 day written notice to vacate." Isn't this unconscionable? And shouldn't any ability to break a contract be fair to both parties?
