QUESTIONS

  • if I am on disability for 2 years am I elegible for Medicare?
  • I was considering a move from Texas to Show Low AZ. I put a $1000 deposit and paid $445 lot fee. When I returned home in TX. I realized that downsizing from a 2300sqft home to a 900sqft trailer was not doable for me at this time. After 2 days from signing the agreement, I gave my formal written notice that I had changed my mind. Now the owner will not refund my money. What can I do. $1400 dollars is quite an amount to keep for just because. I was told they could have shown the trailer 2 times during that time, however the unit was not even ready for someone to move in.
  • I want to file for grandparents rights for my two grandkids. what papers do i need to file and can i do it myseld because I do have a limited income
  • My employer required me to take sick time and use FMLA at the same time is that legal?
  • My mother is 89 & recieved notice of a civil suit being filed against her for a debt. She has dimensia and severe memory loss. The court & rules state she must file an answer, or an att., which she cannot afford. I have durable power of att., but court said i can't file for her. She is incompetent to deal with most anything these days. Help please?
  • My senior friend cannot pay her credit card debts (her son ran them up and then abandoned her). Her only income is Social Security and her home was inheirited (already paid off when it was inheirited). She cannot afford to file bankruptcy. She quit paying her debts over a year ago- sent them a letter stating that she cannot pay, fixed income etc. One of of the creditors recently sent a letter regarding arbitration. If she does not respond it means she agrees to their terms. I suggested to her that she respond by sending the original letter. Is there a better way to respond? Also, is her home safe from a judgement? I know her income is. I thought I read her home could not be taken. If true, would it require a lengthy court battle?
  • I rented house for almost four years, fixed house up inside out without any deductions. Landlord kept raising rent after we made home liveable.she's tried to illegally evict us before but we called police.now she's trying to move in on us and evicting us for no reason telling lies that were not paying and already has new tenants she's just moving in to get us out for no reason and I have two small kids and disabled husband what can I do?
  • I have been told that my living situation with the kids is illegal. Currently we live in a small townhome and two boys and a girl live in the same room. The boys are 13 and 10 and the girl is 14. Are there laws against this?
  • My lease ends 4/31/11. I moved out 3/15/11. I did fulfill my contract obligation of providing the lease check for 4/1/11. My (old) landlord cashed that check 4/4/11 I found out that he moved someone in 4/1/11. Is it legal for him to cash my 4/1/11 check and move someone in, REGARDLESS if I still occupy the dwelling and/or if he made them pay for April or not? I would think that by my yearly lease contract, he is not allowed to move anyone in until 5/1/11 since he accepted and cashed my 4/1/11 check.
  • Can the property management group force me to pay my rent only on their website and charge me to do it?
